As a beta-tester, you can supply us information and suggestions about (any of) this categories:

1. Bugs
This is the most important section at this moment.
If you find an error, please specify how to reproduce it. If DNA Baser display an error message, you can make a screen-shot or do a ‘Control+C’ on that error message dialog to copy that message to clipboard. If necessary, please send the files for which the error appeared.

2. Interface ergonomics
-how difficult is to learn to use BASER
-if some buttons have a wrong icon or placement

3. Missing features
-what important features can we add to DNA BASER
Please remember that a new feature require time and allot of work and may rise the price. Think twice if a feature is really required or worthy.

4. Improvement for the existent features.
-what we should modify, improve

5. Spelling errors
Please inform us if you find spelling errors in our software.

6. Help system
-better descriptions (help, hints and tool-tips)
-can be the Manual organized much better than is it now?
-English errors
-possible translations to other languages (later)

7. Web site
-spelling errors
-broken link, etc
-web design problems

8. Stability
How DNA Baser behave in your computer.

9. Assembling engine
If you find an error in the alignment algorithm, please send the files (abi/scf).
At this moment, we made more test on SCF than ABI, so concentrate on ABI.
You can test:
-quality of the assembling process
-quality of the corrections suggested by the software in case of ambiguous nucleotides
-speed of assembly
